Journal of Education is a quarterly journal issued by the Pedagogic Society of Serbia. It has been regularly published for more than fifty years, the first issue having appeared on March 1st 1952. Since its foundation the Journal of Education has been open for contributions both from within the country and abroad. It publishes scholarly, research-based articles related to education at all educational levels, various pedagogical problems, teaching and learning. It also includes articles on teachers’ practical experiences, and offers reviews of newest pedagogical literature.
Journal of Education is categorized as a journal of national interest by the Ministry of Science of the Republic of Serbia.
The quality and importance of the Journal for pedagogic theory and practice in Serbia are based on the fact that, since its foundation, only eminent researchers, practitioners and university professors have been engaged in its editorial boards, and that all accepted articles are peer reviewed for their scientific and practical justification for publishing. Insistence on high standards of contributions has made the Journal of Education an unavoidable resource for permanent in-service teacher training in Serbia.
In order to contribute to a wider professional communication the Editorial Board have decided, starting from 2009 issues, to include both English and Russian translations of article abstracts, as well as original versions of articles written in these two languages.
Foreign authors are kindly asked to submit extra one-page summary which will be translated into Serbian.
All authors are kindly asked to submit papers in accordance with the Submission Guidelines.
